ACDC Luxury Glamping & Camping Resort is a family-owned and run business with a variety of accommodation options including "The Pod" (sleeps 3), "The Cabin" (sleeps 4), "The Teepee" (sleeps 5), The Shepherds Hut & Wood fired hot tub" ( sleeps 2) and " The Yurt & Wood fired hot tub" (sleeps 4). The resort has 2 children's play areas, a games room, and 2 community rooms. It also has a large outdoor seating area with a fire pit. It is the perfect place to stay for 1 night or a week. It is set in the spectacular Scottish countryside with 360-degree views of the surrounding area and within walking distance to New Aberdour Beach, one of Aberdeenshire’s most beautiful locations. It is located on the outskirts of New Aberdour village. Included in the price are Teas/Coffees and biscuits, all linen, towels, and toiletries. Complimentary basket of logs per accommodation and £4.50 per basket thereafter. Campervans welcome at £28/nt inclusive of waste disposal and topping up of water. Tent pitches are £12 per night with a surcharge of £8/per additional person. Power, water, and disposal point are available. Caravans and Tents are welcome too! The Camping area Community Room has a fully functional kitchen with a variety of seating areas, toilets, a shower room, a tv, an outdoor patio, and a firepit, adjoined to the Games room.

The Yurt is a luxurious accommodation choice, located within the resort. It has 1 double bed, a double sofa bed, a kitchenette, and a shower room. It also has a private patio area with a secluded spot for having a BBQ and optional use of the wood-fired hot tub. It can sleep 4 and is £160/night. Included in the price is Teas/Coffees and biscuits, all linen, towels, and toiletries and use of the hot tub. Complimentary basket of logs and £4.50 per basket thereafter.
There are 2 Children play areas is in near proximity to the accommodation and have a climbing frame, swings, look-out turret, sand pit, and slide. There is also a football park at the rear of the site. The Firepit is surrounded by an out, door seating area and has a barbecue hot plate and log burner. New Aberdour Beach's dramatic coastline includes sandy & shingle beaches, caves and a wide variety of wildlife and birds. This stunning beach has attracted film makers from around the world and scenes from the newly released re-make of Whisky Galore were filmed there.
Cullykhan is a popular sandy bay to the west of Pennan.
Located on a promontory above the bay lays the remains of a Bronze Age fort. There is a car park with footpaths to the beach and the fort.
St Drostan was an Abbot and who brought Christianity to the NE of Scotland. St Drostan is said to have landed on New Aberdour Beach in 580AD and the church up the hill is named after him. .
Pennan is famous for the film "Local Hero". Go visit the Red phone box and Pennan Harbour, which were featured in the film then have a relaxing browse around the new Art gallery and coffee shop in the village.
The cliffs at Troup Head house mainland Scotland's only gannetry, with 1,500 pairs of these majestic birds. There are also puffins, guillemots and razorbills. This short but very dramatic walk visits the clifftops overlooking the gannets' nests. Visit nearby villages Crovie and Gardenstown

In the fifteenth century, around a small creek in the 600-million-year-old rocks on the Phingask Coast of Moray Firth in North-east Scotland, grew a small fishing community. Its identity became the settlement of Pitullie. Later, in the neighbouring "Land of Pittendrum", a village known as Seatown of Pittendrum was renamed - Sandhaven. There are two bars in the village which has spectacular scenery
Fraserburgh is the biggest shellfish port in Scotland and one of the largest in Europe, it is also a major port for white and pelagic fish. There are Fabulous restuarants, including The Captains table and the Peartree coffee house and bistro. There is also a local leisure centre and sports facility with a range of exciting activities.
